Well I must say that I’m very proud to report hat I had some success at the recent Multimedia Awards held up in Cairns.
I submitted the following 2 photos into the category of Best Commercial/Advertising Image. They were selected as 2 of the 3 finalists. ; ).
This one got the gong.
But I still like this one- and it scored higher at the AIPP awards.
It’s always good to get around & keep doing commercial photography- I guess its where I learnt my trade… Anyways- these photos were for Offroad Cartel (A clothing company for 4WD’s owners & operators). These guys were tonnes of fun to work with. We didn’t really take too much too seriously- got some cool dramatic looking photos and called it a day. It was also good to work with Kennedy Design House again. Gene does great work- particularly in graphic & web design. Certainly a man who can think outside the box.
From all reports- things at Offroad Cartel are getting gangbusters- so we went for a run up to Five Rocks to get them some fresh photos for some upcoming ads. Here’s my favourite. Similar style- new location/theme.
