Clint & Liz

I couldn’t miss this wedding.

A New Years Eve wedding on Lady Elliott Island- and that wasn’t the best bit. Sure there were floods- here there and everywhere- but I liked Liz & Clint. It was worth the risk of getting flooded out of town.
We exchanged a few emails in the weeks before my wedding of April 2010. Just going by the language they used in their emails- I figured they’d great fun. They lived abroad in Peru so communications were difficult.

We Skyped with a month to go- and I knew all I need to. A relaxed couple who wanted to enjoy their day with 30 or so guests- mainly family… 20 minutes on the island and I realised how lucky I was to be there. All the guests were excited about the day ahead- relaxing on an island paradise with nothing to do but enjoy catching up.. or scuba dive. Tough day. ; ).

Liz was pretty well looked after by her friends who’d made the trip. Feet & shoulder rubs.

I love how the boys are off relaxing while the girls get ready. Best part of being male I think. ; ).

The view from the rooms.

Carly getting someone to check her hair. No she isn’t staring me down.

Clint & the boys making sure he doesn’t make a break for it!

Clint & his family. Loved how they involved all the families during the ceremony.

Post ceremony hugs.

Wander up the beach 10 metes & began location shots.

The only access onto the island- flights- amazing experience.

The girls starting photo-bombing.

Reception area.

More photo bombing- this time from the boys.

I included this one to show how many birds there were on the island.. Lots is an understatement.

Cigars

Simon explaining crazy hour.

Liz and Clint gave the island management gifts for how fantastic they’d been. Lots plenty about both parties I think.

Wedding cakes.

Hotly contested bouquet toss. Carleigh vs. Aimie.

Hope you have a safe trip back home guys! Thanks for everything again. Will be intouch. ; ).
