Well I think 2 months is a big enough break from post to post!
Its been a fantastic couple of months and there’s a whole bunch of weddings I’m excited to post about- but where to start?
At the beginning I’m assured is a good place. That means Candice & Whitey.
A couple from out of town who decided to tie the knot down at Rydges. Before their day we’d never met- spoke on the phone and thats it. After 10 minutes of shooting their day I knew as much as I needed to. They were super relaxed and were going to enjoy their day. I was also reunited with Toni- who was a past bridesmaid from another happy Clermont couples wedding. Candice is/was lovely- friendly, smiley, positive. All the good stuff. Whitey was a machine- enthusiastic (for a groom). ; )…. And came up with some fantastic ideas through the day.
Their ceremony at the Japanese Gardens was beautiful- it was the first time at that location for me and didn’t disappoint. The ceremony was fantastic- charged with plenty of emotion- pretty sure the bridesmaids were holding back tears for a good percentage of the formalities. Locations were great. Japanese Gardens, Church, Beach, Golf Course- thanks to those nice people at Rydges for their buggies- they sure help to make it fun. Add the fact Tyrone fell out of one of the buggies. Awesome.
Reception was beyond fun. A giant party which I had the best seat in the house… Love my job.
Thanks to the entire bridal party for everything. I wasn’t an outsider at all (at least it didn’t feel like it!). Couldn’t ask for much more than you guys gave over the day. Hope you’re all good!
Bridesmaid Shoes.

1 of the 3 cutest flower girls you’ll ever see.

Candice watching on.

Presents from the Groom. Whitey even called me to make sure I was ready!

I love reactions of mums on wedding days.

One of Whitey’s ideas. Looks cool eh?

Gift from the groom- belts. Great idea!

Thanks Toni- getting the girls organised while I was with the boys. 6 bridesmaids + 3 flower girls = a room just for their outfits.

A certain flower girl reviewing her own photography from the day.

I don’t do many posed shots before everyone’s ready- but they had matching robes!

Stacks on!

Balloons for the ceremony.

Girls getting ready.

See what I mean- Japanese Gardens looked fantastic!

The girls wiping their eyes.

The balloons that Whitey worked so hard on- released!

On to location.

Another one of Whitey’s ideas.

On to the reception. What a party!

Candice & her dad.

Josh belting it out- groomsmen singing- love it. And he sounded good too.

Doog- poor fella was on crutches.

But look what happens when you catch the garter. ; ).

I want to see more MC’s doing this. On the shoulders of a groomsmen, drinking out of a jug which has been supplied by one of the bridesmaids. Photography Gold!!!

Thanks again for everything guys! Talk soon.
