When I post up a about a new wedding generally I have plenty to say- and I know how to say it… This one is no different- except in 1 way- there’s too may things to say… Here we go.
I’ve known Rae & Josh for a few years. Rae used to work at the same communications company as I did. While we never worked there at the same time- I’ll constantly claim her. She’s sinced moved on to being her own boss. It makes sense- she’s the most talented public relations professional I’ve ever come across. www.generatepr.com.au.
Josh worked at the same place as my wife for a few years- and he’s one of the most likeable guys you’ll come across. A friend of mine by the name of Gene Kennedy has a man crush on him. Not the first- won’t be the last.
So that’s just their characters- and a little of our history. Add the fact I got to again shoot with Geoff from Geoffrey Sinclair Photography- fantastic day!
The location. The Rockhampton Ski Club. And the work they’d done- amazing. I must mention CQ Party Hire for their fantastic work too! A reception (& ceremony) beside the Fitzroy- lit by fairy lights. Cool stuff everywhere. Fun, funky- every part was cool and original.
Oh- then their’s the wedding. 50+ images- images I chose not to wow- but to tell their story- after all- isn’t that what wedding photography is about?
Rae- beers at the hair dresser. Beautiful, composed & relaxed.

The shoes.

The dress.

The girls

The boys. Got ready at The Edge. Fantastic spot.

Back to the girls- Rae was/is gorgeous.

The groomsmen were a good bunch of fellas..
Wusty looking the part. I’m noticing about 80% of men in bridal parties don’t know how to tie a tie. So on your day- don’t ask me… I can’t. ; ).

Like I told you- ceremony & reception. Awesome.

Ethan got the call up to be video cameraman..

Dads before the ceremony.

All I see is the shoes.

Figured I better include some location shots..

Reception looked amazing at night.. Admittedly- no light- so difficult to photograph- but still beautiful! Can’t go wrong with fairy lights.

Probably my favourite from the day.

First time I’ve ever seen a bride sing at her own wedding. Rae assures me it was planned.

Josh enjoying the performance.

And not to be outdone.

Well done to those of you who made it this far… Thanks to.. everyone… fantastic night. Rae & Josh- you guys are awesome. Big thanks to Geoff from Geoffrey Sinclair photography too.
